The Ballroom Thieves Add Spring/Summer Dates to Their Intimate Duo Tour; Release Undone Rework of “Saint Monica”

Acclaimed New England indie duo The Ballroom Thieves (Martin Earley and Calin Peters) are scaling things back this year to expose the bones of some of their most well-loved songs with an intimate duo tour and the release of a stripped-back EP called Undone, out May 26th. After completing their Feb/March run, the pair has announced a slew of Spring/Summer dates, and today they also share another track from the EP, “Saint Monica (Undone),” from their 2015 full-length album A Wolf in the Doorway.

The Ballroom Thieves released their latest full-length, Clouds, last summer to critical acclaim, with No Depression calling it a “musical gut punch” and the Boston Globe calling it “lush, omnivorous.” They spent the summer and fall on the road charming audiences across the country with a full band in support of the album, including a prime spot on the Newport Folk Festival. For the last decade, the band has focused on an energetic and dynamic live show that features a powerful quartet of searing vocals, drums, bass, electric guitars, and more recently synths. This year, they aimed to invite fans to their living room with their intimate, stripped-back duo show.
