Today, Australian indie-pop band San Cisco share their catchy new song, “On The Line,” the first new track from the trio – Jordi Davieson, Joshua Biondillo, and Scarlett Stevens –  since their 4-song EP Flaws was released in March. “On The Line” dives into the dynamics of a wanning relationship. The band explains, “Where do you draw the line? When do you pull the plug? How do you know if the juice is worth the squeeze? The game of love is never an easy one to play. Do you pick up the pieces and move onto to something new? Or stick it out for another round of romance?”

The video for “On The Line” was shot during a unique moment in time when social distancing regulations, brought on by the coronavirus pandemic, were eased in Western Australia. It’s a time that so many people in the world are either experiencing right now or longing for the moment it’s going to happen. Most probably the first video made after restrictions have eased, it shows Jordi, Scarlett and Joshua getting ready to finally see each other again. The band are back together…..elbow taps, foot bumps and all!

Jordi explains, “We were super excited to be able to come out of isolation and join together as a band for the first time in months to shoot this video. It was such a fun day of filming with a great crew. We appreciate that at the moment not everyone is as lucky as us, here in Western Australia, to be able to come together in this way. We really hope that those who can’t, will be able to reconnect with loved ones safely soon

The Flaws EP is a collection of tracks from their forthcoming studio album that explore the ideas of love, loss, heartbreak and redemption. “On The Line” will also be featured on the upcoming record. Standout track “Skin” has already amassed 190+ million combined streams on Spotify.  Flaws follows their 2017 full-length album The Water, which housed singles “Slo-Mo” and “Hey, Did I Do You Wrong?” which both landed on Australia’s Independent Radio chart at #10 and #3, respectively.  Before that, the album Gracetown debuted at #2 on the ARIA albums charts and Top 10 on Billboard’s emerging artist chart Next Big Sound.

Known for their live show, San Cisco continues to be a festival staple in Australia (Splendour In The Grass, Big Day Out, BIGSOUND, Groovin’ the Moo), UK/Europe (Leeds Festival, Reading Festival, Lollapalooza Berlin) and the US (Lollapalooza, SXSW, CMJ, NYC Central Park Summerstage).
