“…explosive new single… an inspiring banger.” – Buzzbands.la

“‘Hands Up’ is 10/10 live.” – Bandsintown

“a fun, danceable pop treat that will be stuck in your head long after the song ends.” – The Girls At The Rock Show

Following the release of their new single “Hands Up,” Run River North have announced a spring tour of the U.S. that starts on April 25th in their hometown of Los Angeles at the Moroccan Lounge and ends May 23rd in San Francisco at Bottom of the Hill. The band will also attend SXSW next month; details on shows in Austin to follow. To celebrate the release of “Hands Up” last month, Run River North teamed up with Bandsintown for an exclusive, intimate underplay in LA. Watch the live performance of “Hands Up” here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99juivk_NBY.

“Hands Up” is an anthemic return that pairs an earworm-y chorus with a front-and-center guitar melody. The track is co-produced by Joe Chiccarelli and is a co-writing collaboration with Hannah Hooper and Christian Zucconi of Grouplove (the duo’s first of such sessions). It’s the first new track from Run River North’s upcoming release (details tba), and one that ushers in a new era for the band, having recently evolved from a sextet to a trio.
