Garrett Kato Announces European Tour with Jon & Roy

Canadian-born, Australia-based singer-songwriter Garrett Kato announces a Spring European tour supporting Canadian folk-rock trio Jon & Roy. Starting on March 15th in the UK, the 14-date run of shows will take Kato to the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and will wrap in Austria on March 29th. A full list of dates is below.
Garrett Kato moved to Byron Bay (Australia) in 2010 on a whim after quitting his day job to pursue his passion for music. He first started to make a living by busking on street corners and performing five gigs a week in any place he could find with a stage. It was not until he caught the attention of some of Australia’s biggest acts like Pete Murray and Kasey Chambers, who both became fans after witnessing him perform on the street, that he was able to take his career to the next level.
Since the fall release of Garrett’s debut Nettwerk single, “I’ll Be Around,” it has gained more than 715,000 streams worldwide and has been added to Spotify playlists such as Unwind,Coffee + Chill, Folk & Friends and more. Additionally, his music has amassed over 16 Million worldwide streams (Spotify) to date. Next month, Garrett will release his next single titled “River Mouth” with an EP releasing this Spring.
