WINGTIP RELEASES VIBRANT NEW ALBUM LUCKYMAN
October 21, 2025 BY Bailey Vigliaturo
Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Wingtip releases his highly anticipated sophomore album Luckyman, out now via Nettwerk Music Group. A vivid, emotionally charged exploration of hope, love, and perspective, Luckyman finds Wingtip fully embracing his signature fusion of nostalgic soft rock, cinematic pop, and euphoric electronic flourishes.
Written and recorded during a four-day immersive retreat in the Malibu mountains with collaborators Theo Kandel and Jack Kleinick, Luckyman radiates the warmth and spontaneity of a live performance. Stripping away distractions, the trio tracked the album live using a lush palette of instrumentation, including saxophone, pedal steel guitar, strings, and banjo.
“I tried to take soft rock from the seventies and eighties and blow it up to what I remember it sounding like when I first heard it,” says Wingtip. “Everything is big, vibrant, and colorful. There’s a feeling of satisfaction and hope running through the whole thing.”
Across the album, Wingtip crafts songs that balance emotional honesty with widescreen production. The title track “Luckyman” pairs reverb-soaked guitars with introspective lyrics about finding gratitude in imperfection, while the soaring single “Bloodstream” embodies the dizzying rush of infatuation.
Additional highlights include “Love Is Such a Stupid Feeling,” a heartfelt reflection on the wild vulnerability of lifelong love, and “Satellite,” which closes the record on a wistful, cinematic note.
Building on beloved releases like “You, Me, and the Flood” and “Think About,” Luckyman marks a new chapter for Wingtip, one grounded in contentment and clarity. “I’ve been putting Wingtip out for a long time now. The sound has evolved, but so have I. With Luckyman, I’m taking stock of how everyone around me is growing and moving through their own phases. One of the best parts of getting older is appreciating where you’re at—I definitely do.”
Since his 2017 debut, Wingtip has amassed hundreds of millions of streams and collaborated with artists including Adam Lambert, Lauv, and Céline Dion, while honing his craft as both a solo artist and sought-after songwriter. With Luckyman, he delivers his most complete and luminous work to date.
Luckyman is available now on all streaming platforms.
