Wes Period

Wes Period is a Los Angeles-based rapper/singer who sprung onto the scene with his “bright and befittingly bubbly toast” (FADER) called “Champagne Champion” in 2015. Since then, Wes has put out a number of songs and videos that have received critical acclaim, including a full-length album called Late Bloomer, which was released in early 2017.

Wes’ music fell into the hands of hit songwriter Justin Tranter (Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, DNCE), who quickly signed Wes to his record label, Facet Records. Most recently, he released a track called “Trap Star” and landed the theme song for Ball in the Family, based around the life of LA Laker’s point guard, Lonzo Ball.
