Tom Speight releases uplifting new track ‘Higher’ today, shares music video

March 7, 2025 BY Emma Orland

Today, Tom Speight is back with a brand new single titled ‘Higher’ (listen here).

The feel-good song possesses a true spring in its step, serving as a tribute to how love uplifts the spirit and warms the soul. ‘Higher’ carries all the promise and optimism of sunnier days yet to come, inspired by the hazy, organic sounds of the 1960s and 1970s. It’s the perfect nostalgic soundtrack for the incoming promises and hope of Spring and Summer.

“’Higher’ is all about good vibes—I’ve never had so much fun creating a track,” Speight explained. “It’s the kind of sound that bursts through the speakers, brimming with energy and life. I aimed to invoke the feeling of pure summer magic with this track, the sensation that makes you want to dance, smile, and soak in the moment.”

Filmed in Barcelona, watch the accompanying music video here and below. ‘’I wanted to capture the uplifting summer vibes of ‘Higher’. Barcelona has always been one of my favourite places to visit, and I think both the city and its people truly embody the essence of the song.”

Higher’ is the first taste of brand new music from the London-based singer-songwriter’s upcoming fourth album, due out later this year. Stay tuned for more music and details soon…
