Tom Speight Releases the Post-Album Track “Wonderful Wonder” (Duet Version) featuring Ward Thomas

London-based melodic storyteller, Tom Speight shares new post-album release, ‘Wonderful Wonder’ (Duet Version), out today via Nettwerk.
Following on from his standout third album release ‘Love & Light’, Speight is reintroducing the second track from the record ‘Wonderful Wonder’ as an enchanting duet version featuring UK Country act Ward Thomas. A track that made its live debut as a first dance at a wedding, ‘Wonderful Wonder’ already feels like one of those timeless classics.

As an artist with well over 200 million streams on all streaming platforms, Tom Speight’s ‘Love & Light’ has been a journey of love, loss, and optimism. Receiving praise from The Daily Express, The Daily Mirror, The Independent, The Sunday Times, Wonderland, METAL, and Radio 2’s Album of the Week, with radio plays from Radio 1, Radio 2, Heart, and Radio X. Tom’s magnetic presence extended to TV as well, including appearances on Sunday Brunch, GMB, ITV News, London Tonight (ITV), and BBC Breakfast.
In addition to garnering widespread acclaim from press, radio, and television, ‘Love & Light’ has demonstrated its chart dominance, securing the #1 spot on the Official Independent Album Breakers Chart. The album’s triumph extends further as it clinched top 5 positions on an array of prestigious charts, including the Indie Album Chart, Record Store Chart, Vinyl Album Chart, and Scottish Album Chart.
‘Love & Light’ continued to pay homage to some of Tom’s biggest inspirations, including Damien Rice, Sufjan Stevens, and John Mayer, whilst also exploring fresh territory reminiscent of Dermot Kennedy and Tom Grennan. Opening single ‘The One’ showcased Tom’s exceptional lyrical talents, drawing comparisons to Tom Odell’s introspective approach, and quickly caught the attention of the Independent’s track of the week.
Detailing his newest record, Tom reveals, “I’ve touched on things in this record that I’ve never spoken about before; it’s, without doubt, my most personal to date.”
Tom’s third album marks another milestone in his career, building on the success of his previous two standout albums, which have featured on both the big and small screens, including hit shows like The Voice, Strictly, Masterchef, To All the Boys, being the most played artist in 2021’s season of Love Island, as well as the music video for single ‘The One’ being played on Sunday Brunch.
His music has connected with fans across the globe, with his heartfelt performances earning him support slots with the likes of James Bay, Stereophonics, and Maisie Peters. This year, Tom will embark on his biggest UK headline tour to date.
Tom is also a big supporter of the suicide prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) and will be performing live at their forthcoming CALM sessions. Tom said, “If raising awareness of CALM and the issues around suicide helps just one person to reach out and talk, it’s worth it. I want to use my platform to help break the stigma that prevents people from opening up before they reach the point of crisis.’’
