“Another catchy cut of garage rock. Guitars crunch their way through contemplative riffs as vocalist William Keegan sings of approaching tough life decisions with maturity.” – Consequence

LA garage punk band Together Pangea share a new single from their upcoming album DYE, an upbeat, undeniable collection of hooks, anthems, and power-pop garage-rock catchiness. Out October 22nd, DYE is unmistakably the album of their career, filled to the brim with a sense of primal urgency with feedback and distortion leading the charge. Today, they share “One Way or Another,” a hook-driven, crunchy number about the maturity that comes with big life decisions and a willingness to make mistakes, sitting sonically in the world of 90’s alt rock. The song is out everywhere tomorrow, July 9thHEREDYE is available to pre-save HERE, and DYE Vinyl is available to order exclusively via Together Pangea’s Bandcamp page and website.

“One Way or Another” follows the release of the supremely catchy “Nothing To Hide,” which came with an equally catchy, dance-infused music video. Watch it HERE.

Together Pangea will celebrate the album’s release with a special hometown headline show at LA’s The Troubadour on Saturday, October 23rd, and will headline Chad’s Home Fest on November 20th at the Glass House in Pomona, CA, where a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Border Angels Foundation. The band has also announced September 2021 dates, and a 2022 Europe/UK tour supporting Jimmy Eat World. All dates are below.

Since they began jamming back in William’s Santa Clarita bedroom, Los Angeles indie band Together Pangea have continually challenged themselves with each subsequent offering. Jelly Jam [2010] poured the gasoline, Living Dummy [2011] struck the match, and Badillac [2014] lit the fire with its revved-up nineties rock-inspired flames. Along the way, fan favorites like “Sick Shit,” “Badillac,” and “Offer” would rack up millions of Spotify streams, while the group received support from Consequence of Sound, Pitchfork, MTV, Stereogum, and more. Following the 2015 release of The Phage EP, produced by The Replacements’ Tommy Stinson, these working class boys embarked on the journey to what would become 2017’s Bulls and Roosters, which evidenced their growth as a tried-and-true rock band with just the right amount of “brattiness,” as they like to say. Before the global pandemic took over, Together Pangea brought their raucous live shows to sold-out audiences across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, UK, Europe and Australia, both headlining and sharing the stage with bands like Vundabar, Tijuana Panthers and Alkaline Trio.
