Together Pangea Release New Album ‘Eat Myself’ + Announce Co-Headline Spring US Tour w/ The Red Pears
January 16, 2026 BY Emma Orland
Today, Los Angeles rock trio Together Pangea releases their new album, Eat Myself, via Nettwerk. Eat Myself sees the band – William Keegan, Danny Bengston, and Erik Jimenez – expanding upon their earlier garage rock and surf roots as they explore new sonic territory, drawing inspiration from acts like Deftones, Smashing Pumpkins, and My Bloody Valentine, among others. Listen HERE.
Produced in LA by three-time Grammy Winner and producer Mikey Freedom Hart (Taylor Swift, Blood Orange, Wallice, and Lana Del Rey), Eat Myself marks a bold new era for Together Pangea, trading the restless angst of their twenties for a darker but calmer confidence earned through experience and growth.
“I feel like there is less anxiety with this record,” Keegan shares. “Though this record is darker, there is still this sense of calm that really comes from age.” Bengston agrees, adding, “I’d also like to think our songwriting is constantly maturing. We’re getting better at this thing that we’ve been doing for a long time, and I think that shows with every album.”
Sonically, Eat Myself is a far cry from the band’s earlier garage rock and surf roots. Instead, it offers a sharp distillation of their artistic range, including an emphasis on their heavier, grunge-leaning tendencies—or what Keegan describes as “bubble grunge,” a sound they first began exploring on their 2014 record Badillac.
Together Pangea have also announced a Spring U.S. co-headline tour with The Red Pears, which will begin this April in Santa Cruz with stops in Minneapolis, Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, Dallas, and more alongside a short stint of headline shows this month, including a record release show in Los Angeles at Teragram Ballroomtonight, followed by Pioneertown on the 17th and Tucson on the 18th. Over fifteen years into their career, Together Pangea find themselves in a unique position: still evolving, still relevant, and still more vital than ever. 2025 marked some of their biggest milestones, including a highly coveted debut appearance at Coachella and the largest shows of their career to date, including The El Rey in Los Angeles with support from Prison Affair.
Since they began as a band, Together Pangea has been pushing boundaries with each subsequent offering. Jelly Jam[2010] poured the gasoline, Living Dummy [2011] struck the match, and Badillac [2014] lit the fire with its revved-up nineties rock-inspired flames, followed by The Phage [2015], Bulls and Roosters [2017], DYE[2021], and their most recent, Misery [2024]. They’ve racked up millions of Spotify streams, garnered critical acclaim from the likes of LA Times, Alt Press, NTS, Consequence, Pitchfork, Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, and Rolling Stone, and toured with acts like Jimmy Eat World, FIDLAR, and Alkaline Trio.
