The Sweeplings Provide Soundtrack to Summer Romance on New Single “Just Like That”

Indie-folk duo The Sweeplings — Cami Bradley and Whitney Dean — share their soundtrack to summer love with new single “Just Like That” from their upcoming album, details TBA. On “Just Like That,” acoustic guitar brushes up against soft strings, airy vocals, and twinkling harmonies as they sing about finding your soulmate. Listen here:  

“You know what it’s like when you find someone and fall in love like Cami has with her husband Eric and I have with my wife?” asks Whitney. “All of a sudden, it happens, ‘Just like that!’ It’s not enough. You want more. We both fell in love like that.” Cami adds, “We don’t have many of them, but that’s our love song.”


The Sweeplings have always connected with audiences through vulnerability and honesty. For the better part of a decade, they’ve opened up across a series of EPs, their full-length debut Rise & Fall [2017] and the follow-up Debris [2022]. Continuing to resonate, “Chains” amassed over 33 million Spotify streams and counting followed by “Hold Me” with 21 million Spotify streams and “Across the Sea” with over 19 million Spotify streams. Meanwhile, their influence has quietly coursed through popular culture with placements in Pretty Little LiarsThe Vampire DiariesGood Behavior, and Longmire, to name a few. The musicians even performed “In Too Deep” during an episode of The Fosters.
