“the most gorgeous music by a folk-pop duo… blending their sweet, dreamy voices into a committed musical relationship.” — PopMatters

Folk/pop duo The Sweeplings will release their new EP, Losing Ground Vol. 1, out March 13th, and today they share the first taste of what’s to come with new single “In Between,” along with an accompanying music video that premiered via PopMatters.  With Losing Ground Vol. 1, The Sweeplings—Cami Bradley and Whitney Dean—magnify the beauty of life’s simplest pleasures through folk eloquence, indie spirit, and alternative soul. Co-written by John Paul White (Civil Wars), “In Between” juxtaposes delicate fingerpicking with a hypnotic hook.

The band says of the track, “’In Between’ is a special and intimate song. It speaks to a transformative love that goes deeper than just the words ‘I love you’—when two souls combine as their full selves to create something beautiful that transcends the old and forms the new. We started writing it on tour in a hotel room in Florida a few years back, and then finished it up with our friend John Paul White before going into the studio to track the new EP.”

Since emerging with their self-titled EP in 2014, The Sweeplings maintained a prolific pace. They built a growing catalog, consisting of four EPs Covers, Ch. 1 [2016], Winter’s Call [2016], Sleepwalking [2017], and Merrier Days [2017] and one full-length, Rise & Fall [2017]. Streamed over 100 million times to date, “Chains” eclipsed 28.4 million Spotify streams as “Hold Me” generated 15.9 million followed by “Across The Sea” at 14.3 million. Between frequent touring, they attracted acclaim from NPR, Huffington Post, Atwood Magazine, and more. In addition, they landed syncs on Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries, Good Behavior, Longmire, and The Fosters in which they also appeared for a performance of “In Too Deep.”
