The Outdoor Type To Release ‘Perspectives’ EP (Out 9/22); Summer Dates Announced

On August 7th, Melbourne-based The Outdoor Type, aka singer/songwriter Zack Buchanan, returns to the US with a string of dates in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boulder, New York and Philadelphia.
The Outdoor Type has recently appointed Rob Zifarelli (City and Colour, Vance Joy, Boy and Bear) of United Talent Agency as the booking agent for North America and Canada. With club gigs in LA, SF and NYC, Buchanan is also heading to Boulder CO for the Triple A Radio Conference, New Hampshire for a free WNCS radio show and Philadelphia for the WRFF 104.5 Summer Block Party, where he will be sharing the stage with Vance Joy, Portugal. The Man and Judah And The Lion.
Last month, led by the terrific lead single “On My Mind,” Buchanan made his US live debut with a series of sessions and interviews at key radio stations across the country, including Portland’s KINK, Boston’s WXRV The River, the aforementioned WRFF 104.5FM in Philadelphia and Los Angeles’ Alt 98.7FM, the #1 alternative station in the country.
