The Ballroom Thieves Share “Love Is Easy” From Upcoming 2020 Album

The Ballroom Thieves – Calin “Callie” Peters (vocals, cello, bass), Martin Earley (vocals, guitar), and Devin Mauch (vocals, percussion) – are known for their powerful live performance, but also tackling subjects as weighty as greed, inequality, privilege, and narcissism, and as light as fulfillment and adoration. Partnering with Rolling Stone Country to premiere, the band shares their new song “Love is Easy” from the upcoming album set for release next year (details to be announced soon).
Speaking with Rolling Stone Country, Martin says, “The last five years of touring have made it clear that the road is not a place I can comfortably call home. Don’t get me wrong, performing is still downright blissful most of the time, but the countless auxiliary moments surrounding that hour on stage have become increasingly strenuous with each passing season. But one thing that has always been easy is loving my bandmate, best friend and now fiancé Calin. Put simply, this song is about finding a person who is easy for you to love and then loving that person no matter what the world throws at you. Life can feel like a slow, looming avalanche sometimes (especially if you’re first-time homeowners like us…), so finding the person with whom you don’t mind being stuck in the proverbial snow can make all the difference. Love is Easy exists to remind me of that fact.”
“Love is Easy” follows the politically-charged single “Tenebrist,” which was released earlier this Fall.
Always on the road, the band has just wrapped up a west coast tour with CAAMP and return home to New England, before embarking on their next set of North American dates (details to be announced).
