As acclaimed New England indie duo The Ballroom Thieves (Martin Earley and Calin Peters) return to the road for a special, intimate duo tour, the pair announce their new EP, Undone, will be out May 26th via Nettwerk. They give fans a taste of what to expect from the EP and tour dates with the release of “Pour Down (Undone),” a stripped-down and raw take on the stand-out track from their latest full-length album, Clouds.

“’Pour Down’ is one of our favorite songs from Clouds, so we wanted to share what it sounds like when it’s stripped down to its core: just the two of us playing it live in a room, together,” Martin shares. “Recording this version was an exercise in simplicity. We did it all in our little home studio in Maine, hoping to capture the dreary solitude of a New England winter as it unfolded all around us. It’s acoustic, intimate, and full of breathing room, which hopefully allows the song’s central themes of loss and heartbreak to come to the surface.”
The Ballroom Thieves released Clouds last summer to critical acclaim, with No Depression calling it a “musical gut punch” and the Boston Globe calling it “lush, omnivorous.” They spent the summer and fall on the road charming audiences across the country with a full band in support of the album, including a prime spot on the Newport Folk Festival.
