Synth-Pop Artist GEOGRAPHER Announces First Headlining Show In LA In Over Three Years At The Troubadour

Synth-pop luminary Geographer announces he will headline the Troubadour on August 26 in support of his new album, Down and Out In The Garden Of Earthly Delights, an 18 track voyage of synth-pop bliss. The show is his first public headlining show in his current home base, Los Angeles, since the pandemic and follows a large U.S. tour earlier this year, as well as performances at Treefort Music Festival and Just Like Heaven Festival.
Geographer also recently shared his angelic one-off track, “The Reason,” which was featured in Grey’s Anatomy (season 18, episode 16). The hauntingly nostalgic song is full of atmospheric guitar licks and eerie, yet beautiful vocals that pair wonderfully.

Formed in San Francisco, Geographer is the moniker for now Los Angeles-based artist Mike Deni. Part social scientist, part troubadour, if Geographer is an expert at anything, it’s precisely chronicling life’s imperfections. He has headlined many national tours, played Outside Lands, Firefly, Treefort, and other festivals, released two critically acclaimed albums, and performed with such musical luminaries as K.Flay, The Flaming Lips, Young The Giant, Tycho, Ratatat, Betty Who, and Tokyo Police Club.
