SYML Announces Headlining Fall World Tour

May 15, 2018 BY Nettwerk

Following sold-out shows across North America and Europe earlier this year, SYML announces the Where Did We Go Tour, his most extensive headlining world tour to date at venues more than double the size of past gigs. The tour launches in Montreal, Québec on September 13th and wraps in Munich, Germany on November 17th, with stops in most major U.S. cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Portland, D.C. and Denver.  A full list of dates can be found below.

Before the Where Did We Go Tour kicks off, SYML (Brian Fennell) will play several festivals in Europe this summer, including stops at Piknik i Parken in NorwayPukkelpop in Belgium and the Best Kept Secret Festival in the Netherlands.

SYML’s breakout single “Where’s My Love continues its climb at radio and streaming, charting in the Top 30 at both Alternative Radio and Triple A formats in the US, achieving Gold certification in Canada, and nearing 150 million combined streams worldwide and over 40+ million YouTube views. The emotional track has also caught the attention of the film/TV world, with syncs in the trailer for the upcoming film Adrift, starring Shailene Woodley (Big Little Lies, Divergent) and Sam Claflin (Hunger Games, Me Before You), Fox’s Lethal Weapon and MTV’s Teen Wolf. It also had its Olympics moment when Canadian ice-skating duo Julianne Sequin and Charlie Bilodeau chose the song for their free skate in Pyeongchang.

From his basement recording studio in the small town of Issaquah, WA outside Seattle, Brian Fennell began to write and record songs under the name SYML, which means simple in Welsh. Adopted and not knowing his history or connection to his Welsh roots, many of these songs are influenced by the complex feelings that come from unknown lineage.
