SYML Announces Headline Vancouver Show On January 12, 2018

September 27, 2017 BY Nettwerk

Nettwerk recording artist SYML has announced his first headline show in Vancouver at The Cultch on Friday January 12th. Translated as “simple” in Welsh, SYML is the creation of Seattle-native Brian Fennell. With a keen grasp on textural and emotive songwriting, Fennell combines piano, minimalist synth and string-scales with ethereal vocals to take the listener on a journey through the senses. Adopted and not knowing his history or connection to his Welsh roots, many of his songs are influenced by the complex feelings that come from unknown lineage.
