Singer, Songwriter & Producer Phillip LaRue Releases New Album ‘Colors’

Nashville-based singer, songwriter and producer Phillip LaRue, known for his soulful vocals and heartfelt lyrics, releases his new album Colors today with Nettwerk. The album takes listeners on an emotional journey as LaRue chronicles his relationships with key individuals in his life, such as his wife, grandmother and sister. Purchase and stream HERE.
LaRue brings these poignant interactions to life on Colors’ 13 tracks, adding, “I tried to make this feel like a road trip album. Listen, roll the windows down, and get out of it whatever you need. He first introduced the Colors album with a pair of EPs: September 2022’s It All and March 2023’s Thank You June. Colors is made up of the songs from these releases, including stand-outs like “It All,” “Amen,” “Never Break,” as well as three additional tunes recorded during the same sessions, presenting Phillip’s full, unfiltered vision. One of these new tunes, “Cover You,” comes today with an accompanying music video

Phillip LaRue has captivated fans with his nuanced perspective as an artist and a songwriter. He has cultivated a catalog highlighted by co-writing the platinum #1 country hit “Whiskey in My Water” for Tyler Farr, the platinum track “Night Shift” for Jon Pardi and Tenth Avenue North’s “By Your Side,” which won a Dove Award for “Song of the Year.” He also co-wrote and sang on Ocula’s “Green Willow.” His music has been featured in Virgin River, Grey’s Anatomy, Vampire Diaries, Nashville, etc., and in campaigns for Apple, Volkswagen, McDonald’s and Dignity Health.
