“Very worth your time and ears.” – The Irish Times

“I absolutely love everything he’s been doing.” – Gemma Bradley, BBC Radio 1

“…soulfully crafted music that blends elements of pop, jazz and folk together for the perfect mix.” – Hot Press Magazine

‘Afterlife‘ is the first single release from Seba Safe’s upcoming sophomore EP, ‘Rainy‘. Following Irish and UK touring towards the end of 2022, the new year brings new music and a great evolution from the Irish singer-songwriter. ‘Afterlife’ sees Seba Safe moving forwards from previous releases; fans will recognise the soft vocals, his ear for melody and emotive songwriting, but ‘Afterlife’ is a dreamy, lush track that takes on more than just an acoustic guitar. Exploring electronic instrumentation and taking inspiration from artists like DOPE LEMON and Big Thief. Vivid and conversational lyricism is delivered with a gentle flow that carries Seba Safe’s sharp observations throughout the song.

According to Seba Safe (real name Mike D’Alton) ‘Afterlife’ is “a song about navigating through life after a long period of keeping to yourself and meeting up with the person who caused your break from social life.”
