In the midst of playing sold-out rooms across Europe with The Midnight, Brooklyn’s Savoir Adore share the pulsing new song, “Body Heat,” from their forthcoming full-length album Full Bloom, out April 5.  The band also announced a hometown album release show in Brooklyn on Thursday, April 11 at Elsewhere.

Lauren Zettler says of the track, “’Body Heat’ is a song about awareness – knowing your worth and what you’re comfortable with. Sometimes we want more than we’re getting, sometimes we give less than we should. When you put it all on the table and everyone is on the same page, you decide what works for you and what doesn’t. When you’re aware and checking in with yourself, you get to call the shots. Sometimes it’s easy, sometimes it’s hard, but it’s always up to you.

The songs on Full Bloom conjure a dream-like romanticism with a synth pop frame. The album signifies a new beginning for Savoir Adore, one that sees founder Paul Hammer solidify his musical partnership with Lauren Zettler. The result is a record that is at once personal and universal, intimate and expansive.
