“Savoir Adore marries lyrical density with signature muscular production—a well-constructed bridge that sees the band embarking on new beginnings…” – BlackBook
“Paul Hammer’s electro-pop anthems know when to reach for overpowering uplift.” – NPR’s The Austin 100
Savoir Adore has unveiled the official video for “Lovers Wake,” the album opener for upcoming full-length The Love That Remains, out summer tba. The video, which premiered via BlackBook, is directed by Kate Hammond and Andrew Thomas and plays out with Savoir’s Paul Hammer completely submerged underwater.

Paul tells BlackBook, “Simply put, [‘Lovers Wake’] is about drowning in a beautiful fantasy. As soon as I finished the song, I knew what I wanted the music video to be: an underwater performance—a literal interpretation of that metaphor. The shoot was really hard, including 2 hours of anxiety attacks trying to get that first long take underwater, but it was worth every second.”
Last week, the band shared anthemic album track “Giants,” which Neon Gold said “has all the hallmarks of an early summer anthem to get the alt radio airwaves buzzing,” and Indie Shuffle called “a fearless electro-pop release filled with Hammer’s buoyant vocals and scintillatingly rich synth work.” The track was featured in NPR’s coveted The Austin 100 SXSW preview, and received over 100,000 Spotify plays in its first weekend.

Led by principal songwriter/vocalist Paul Hammer, the ever-evolving Brooklyn-based project continues its journey through magical dream worlds and vivid musical landscapes. The band — which is rounded out by Alex Foote (guitar), Ben Marshall (drums), Andrew Pertes (bass), and new female vocalist Lauren Zettler — launched 2016 with a sold-out hometown headline show at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right. They’ll be playing various showcases at SXSW and dates in Los Angeles before joining X Ambassadors on their spring tour. All tour dates are listed below.
