Russian Ambient-Drone Artist Desolate Horizons Announces New EP; Shares Track

Russian ambient-drone project Desolate Horizons is excited to announce his next EP, Inner Forests, will be released on January 7, 2022. The EP follows his 2021 EP, Patience. Desolate Horizons is the alias of Russian producer Constantine Horizon. Known for creating lush soundscapes, Constantine puts his heart and soul into his surreal productions he describes as “atmospheric dreamy sounds for watching the skies.” He explains, “The main idea of ‘Inner Forests’ was to write music with a nature theme, combined with field recordings I made in places that bring me peace and inspiration. This music is about my reconnection with nature, how much I missed it and how it helped me and continues to help me.”
Today, he shares the new single, “Sylvan,” an ambient tune that wakes up the listener with chirping birds and a drone soundscape. He adds, “’Sylvan’ is about a place where you will go to explore all your questions and dreams, to desire and seek. A place of absolute tranquility, full of breath of life and ancient wisdom. My place of power.”
