Run River North Announce Tour Dates; Performance On MTV’s ‘Wonderland’

July 26, 2016 BY Nettwerk

“‘Drinking From a Salt Pond’ the sophomore effort from Run River North, is a sonic evolution from their self-titled debut.  Feistier lyrics render a little less Of Monsters and Men and a little more Cold War Kids.” – Los Angeles Magazine

LA-based indie rock band Run River North announce a North American tour, sharing the stage with San Francisco-based alternative band Finish Ticket.  The October dates follows a summer packed with radio station festival performances across the country, including Los Angeles (KROQ), Philadelphia (WRFF), Burlington (WBTZ), Kansas City (KRBZ), St. Louis (KPNT), Buffalo (WLKK), Jacksonville (WXXJ), Chicago (WKQX), Columbus (WWCD) and more.  As such, lead single “Run Or Hide” – from their sophomore album Drinking From A Salt Pond – has steadily moved up Billboard’s Alternative Radio chart with 10 consecutive weeks in the Top 35.

This month, the band performed “Run Or Hide” to kick off MTV’s new performance series, Wonderland.  As part of the initial episode, the band performed the song in front of 600 invited guests and the network’s extensive viewership.  You can watch the full episode here.  This follows the band’s March performance on Late Night With Seth Meyers.
