Indie-pop songwriter philine announces the release of her new single “ten years time”, arriving July 4th, 2025, via Nettwerk Music Group. “Ever since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to become a mother and have a little family,” philine shares. “But ever since I’ve been in relationships with girls, I felt a little conflicted about how that dream was going to look like in reality for me. I had a lot of questions about who would be the carrier, who would be the father figure, what role would he have, and what this would mean for my future children.”
Though the song began as an exploration of those questions, it ultimately transformed into something more universal. “I wanted to write a song about that for a little while, but the song actually ended up as a reminder to myself to not get too caught in worries about the future. All I have to do is focus on the present moment. Life is going to unfold itself and I can deal with the future once it’s there.”
