Peter Murphy To Release ‘Mr Moonlight: 35 Years Of Bauhuas’ Live Digital Album October 30th

October 26, 2015 BY Nettwerk

Iconic frontman and Bauhaus founder Peter Murphy spent three months of 2013 playing Bauhaus material to sold out audiences across North American and Europe, marking the first time since 2006 that he performed full Bauhaus sets, and the first time he had ever done so on his own.  Available digitally on October 30th, the Mr. Moonlight Tour: 35 Years Of Bauhaus live album captures one evening of that memorable tour recorded at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles.

In other news, Murphy is set to star in BlackGloveKiller, a psychological horror film directed and written by Canadian-based filmmaker Chris Alexander and also starring Skinny Puppy’s Nivek Ogre. The film will be shot at the end of 2015 in Canada.

Bauhaus formed in 1978 and achieved worldwide cult status that continues to this day. As the main man of the acclaimed outfit, Peter Murphy helped usher in ground breaking opaque moods and atmospheres into the post-punk landscape. Bauhaus originally split in 1983, but eventually bowed to public pressure to reform in 1998 and again in 2005.
