Nettwerk co-founder Mark Jowett on the passing of Adam Schlesinger:
Nettwerk is profoundly saddened to hear of the passing of Adam Schlesinger from complications caused by Covid-19. We had the great pleasure of working closely with him and his band Ivy, formed with co-members Andy Chase and Dominique Durand, and are proud to have released Ivy’s classic records, Long Distance (2001), In the Clear (2005) and All Hours (2011). With such timeless and class songs such as “Edge of the Ocean” and “Thinking About You,” amongst many others, Adam, Andy and Dominique knew how to create gorgeous, beautiful pop music.
Adam was always an absolute gentleman, and he applied his musical genius in the most honourable ways across his many projects. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with his family and many friends in the music industry and beyond.
