“OSKA has a special talent for bittersweet yearning poeticism…”Under the Radar

Indie pop singer and songwriter OSKA shares her bittersweet new song “Woodstock,” available at digital retailers tomorrow (July 30) HERE. The Austrian songwriter is no stranger to heartache yet OSKA knows how to get over something or someone and laughs it off charmingly: “Woodstock is a song about my dumb, old car and getting over the fact that I probably won’t be in someone’s life; just like I’ll never be a part of a festival that took place over 50 years ago. I wish I was but it’s impossible. And that’s okay.”

“Woodstock” follows previously released singles “Crooked Teeth,” and “Lousy T-Shirt,” which will be featured on OSKA’s anticipated full-length debut album, details forthcoming.

Watch OSKA Perform “Woodstock” Here:

Growing up in a small village in Lower Austria, OSKA moved to Vienna at 18 to study her first love; music. She started busking in streets and squares of the capital while also studying pop and jazz singing. She has worked tirelessly drafting and crafting her imminent debut, honing her voice to say exactly what she wants it to. She signed to Nettwerk in 2020 and released her debut EP Honeymoon Phase to critical acclaim. The five songs on the album have amassed more than 4 million Spotify streams and won her the XA Music Export Award at Waves Vienna Festival 2020.
