Nashville-based, Atlanta-born singer/songwriter Ben Cramer, aka Old Sea Brigade, has released a new single, “Hope,” which will be featured on his upcoming full-length debut, Ode To A Friend (release date tba).  The song premiered via Ones To Watch, who said, “Restrained yet impassioned vocals are met with rolling, finger-picked guitar and swells of panoramic synth.” Old Sea Brigade will be playing shows intermittently throughout the summer, including New York City on June 28 and his hometown of Atlanta on July 1. Details are below.

Old Sea Brigade’s 2016 self-titled debut EP featured single “Love Brought Weight,” which caught fire and has since generated over 16 million Spotify streams. Between touring alongside Joseph, Luke Sital Singh, Lewis Watson, Julien Baker, John Paul White, and more, he released 2017’s Cover My Own EP. The song “Tidal Wave” quickly crossed the two-million-mark on Spotify. Media took notice, including Clash, who noted, “There’s a sense of Southern gothic at work in the music of Old Sea Brigade… engrossing, enthralling fare.”

During 2017, he retreated to Griffith’s Destin, FL studio in order to record what would become his full-length debut album, Ode To A Friend.
