NW1 Signs Electronic Artist/Songwriter JES To Publishing Roster

Nettwerk One Music (NW1) is proud to announce the signing of electronic music artist JES to its worldwide publishing roster, cementing her reputation as one of the genre’s most coveted songwriters.

The New York native has been at the forefront of dance music since her 2005 smash “As The Rush Comes” (with Motorcycle) broke international dance chart records. JES’ catalogue spans some of the most important songs in EDM with over 300 releases to date. Songs and collaborations with the likes of Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Above & Beyond, ATB, Kaskade, BT, Richard Durand and Cosmic Gate, as well as four solo artist albums have resulted in two Billboard #1’s, two Grammy nominations, countless Beatport hits, three consecutive wins in the ISC (International Songwriting Competition) and a much lauded International Dance Music Award for best new artist. Earlier this year, JES launched her own Intonenation Records label with her breakout hit “Hold On” hitting the #12 spot on Beatport.

Says Nettwerk’s Mark Jowett, “JES has really been the voice of electronic music, given her collaborations with Tiesto, BT, Ferry Corsten and Paul Oakenfold, among many others.  While she continues to work on fantastic collaborations, she is now carving a path as a tremendous artist in her own right. NW1 is delighted and honored to be working with her.”

Having moved into a new writing and recording space in Los Angeles last year, JES is looking forward to diversifying her writing into some new areas.
“I am truly excited to become a part of the Nettwerk family,” JES says. “I hope to broaden my writing experiences and reach into some different genres as well as EDM. I think a great song can always transcend the genre.”

JES’ Los Angeles headquarters provides two writing rooms as well as tracking and mixing facilities, and serves as the creative hub for her writing and production activities. It is also the home of Intonenation Records and her revered “Unleash The Beat” radio show and mix-compilation franchise.
