Nettwerk Shares World Piano Day 2023 Compilation Featuring SYML, Christopher Elliot, Alaskan Tapes, and More

Today, Nettwerk celebrates World Piano Day by sharing an eight-song compilation of artists within our instrumental ambient/neo-classical genres and beyond.
The track list includes acclaimed indie star SYML, renowned composers Christopher Elliot and Joe Alexander Shepherd, ambient producers Alaskan Tapes, Htennek Niwsha and John Hayes, and the Libera Award-nominated pianist Doeke. Together their compositions highlight the piano in its purest form. Furthermore, the artists have come together to curate Nettwerk’s ‘Poetic Piano’ Spotify Playlist, a collection of piano favorites that inspire them. Listen to the ‘Poetic Piano’ playlist (here).
World Piano Day, an annual worldwide event founded by a group of like-minded people, takes place on the 88th day of the year – in 2023, it’s the 29th March – because of the number of keys on the instrument being celebrated. The German musician, Nils Frahm, founded World Piano Day in 2015.
