RUN RIVER NORTH
Watch “Run Or Hide” Here:

In 2016, LA-based Run River North releases Drinking From A Salt Pond, the follow up LP to their 2014 self-titled debut.  Working with producer Lars Stalfors (Cold War Kids, Deap Vally, HEALTH, Matt and Kim), the band leave behind its familiar folksy roots to craft an ambitious rock album.  The band will be performing lead single “Run Or Hide” on Late Night With Seth Meyers on March 28.  Produced by Phil Ek (Built To Spill, The Shins, Father John Misty), the debut album landed at #3 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. With heaps of praise from fans and critics alike, and a nearly sold-out debut North American headline tour, the band has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, VH-1 “Big Morning Buzz,” CMT “Concrete Country,” Last Call With Carson Daly, and Emmy-winning PBS series Artbound.  All this follows features with The Wall Street Journal, NPR Weekend Edition, NPR Here & Now, Entertainment Weekly, American Songwriter, Daytrotter, American Way and TeamCoco, the official website of Conan. Run River North is Alex Hwang (lead vocals, guitars), Daniel Chae (vocals, strings), Jennifer Rim (strings), Joe Chun (bass, vocals), John Chong (drums, vocals) and Sally Kang (vocals, keyboards).

SAVOIR ADORE
Listen To “Giants” Soundcloud:

Led by principle songwriter/vocalist Paul Hammer, the ever-evolving Brooklyn-based project continues its journey through magical dream worlds and vivid musical landscapes. The band, which is rounded out by Alex Foote (guitar), Ben Marshall (drums), Andrew Pertes (bass), and new female vocalist Lauren Zettler (also co-writer on “Giants”), launched 2016 with a sold-out hometown headline show at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right. They’ll be playing various showcases at SXSW before joining X Ambassadors on their spring tour.  Listen to new single “Giants,” which Neon Gold said has all the hallmarks of an early summer anthem to get the alt radio airwaves buzzing.”

CHADWICK STOKES
Watch “Our Lives Our Time” here:

A typical musician wouldn’t travel across the country by hopping freight trains or playing shows inside fans’ living rooms throughout North America and Europe after selling out arenas like Madison Square Garden (for three consecutive nights), but Chadwick Stokes is anything but your typical musician.  Since forming his first band with two college friends in 1996, Chadwick Stokes has paved a path of independence, advocacy and social consciousness that’s impacted every aspect of his artistic life. In addition to fronting the bands State Radio and Dispatch, Stokes is also a co-founder of Calling All Crows, a non-profit dedicated to bringing bands and fans together to create change through hands-on service and activism. Calling All Crows has raised over $550,000 and invested more than 30,000 hours of service in local communities across North America and Europe.  Stokes’ most recent record, The Horse Comanche, was co-produced by Sam Beam of Iron and Wine and producer Brian Deck (Modest Mouse, Gomez, Iron and Wine). This is the follow-up to his 2011 solo album Simmerkane II.

BANNERS
Watch “Shine A Light” Here:

BANNERS (aka Mike Nelson) comes from Liverpool, UK. Fascinated by dreams, life, death, hope and despair, he grew up singing in the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral Choir and the Liverpool Kop. Influenced by artists ranging from Jeff Buckley to Arcade Fire, Mike’s music is at once haunting & hopeful, sure to resonate with audiences across space & age. Recently named a Spotify Spotlight 2016 artist, BANNERS’ tracks “Shine a Light” and “Start A Riot” have generated close to 20 million streams and have been featured in the FIFA 16 Ultimate Team Legends trailer and PEPSI commercials as well as shows like MTV’s Teen Wolf, E!’s The Royals, and FOX’s American Idol. BANNERS recently made his late night debut on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! and is currently touring throughout the US on the SiriusXM Presents Alt Nation tour alongside Pop ETC and The Moth & The Flame in support of his recently released self-titled debut EP.

ROO PANES:
Watch “The Original” Here:

Since releasing his debut album ‘Little Giant’ in 2014 to critical acclaim, Roo Panes has racked up an excess of 40 million plays on Spotify and over a million total YouTube views. He has been described by Uncut as a ‘Britfolk pin up’ whose music ‘taps a deep well of folk heritage.’ Q Magazine has said Panes finds ‘a positive message in thoughts best left in the dark of night.’ New album ‘Paperweights’ out 4th March 2016, is equally truthful, with a sound matured, richer but no less authentic.

MT. WOLF
Watch “Anacrusis” Here:

Mt. Wolf will release their Hex EP through CRC Music on 25th March. The EP will be followed by their highly-anticipated, debut album in the Autumn.  With a brace of critically-acclaimed EPs under their belt and a personnel upheaval behind them, Mt. Wolf move into a thrilling new phase of their voyage. Now a firmly consolidated three-piece, the band continue their hallmark splicing of electronic and acoustic elements. Taken from their new EP, “Anacrusis” is a cathartic and uplifting song that “deals with convalescence and rebirth from a dark place with the help of someone else”.

ROYAL CANOE
Watch “Bathtubs” Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zr3zb_fvGjs

A six-piece ensemble from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Royal Canoe give you everything, but on their own maniacally hybrid terms. It’s one thing to reference a particular style, or even a range of styles. It’s another thing entirely to grab huge handfuls of sounds from pretty much anywhere, throw them all together and come up with something both cohesive and totally distinctive—something that also happens to ripple and crack with energy. This is what Royal Canoe does best. New album is in the works with co-production and mixing by Ben Allen (Animal Collective, Gnarls Barkley, Deerhunter).

THE TREWS
Watch “In The Morning” feat. Serena Ryder Here:

Ten years, five studio albums and thousands of gigs in, The Trews have had 16 Top 10 singles on Rock radio, two Gold Certified albums and received numerous JUNO Award nominations. Their latest effort is produced by Gavin Brown (Metric, Billy Talent, The Tragically Hip) and guitarist John-Angus MacDonald (The Trews, The Glorious Sons).

Hope to see you there!
