March 3, 2023 BY Jason Currell
Nashville based singer, songwriter and producer Phillip LaRue releases his haunting new single, “Indigo,” today via Nettwerk. Purchase and stream the track written about losing faith in oneself off the new EP, Thank You June, HERE.
“‘Indigo’ is a song I wrote for a dear friend that has been on a journey trying to find himself for a long time. I wrote this in honor of him, hoping to remind him that I still see light in him despite all the pain and struggle he has faced,” states LaRue about the track.
On the latest EP, Thank You June, Phillip LaRue pays homage to the beauty around him with eloquent lyricism, fragile instrumentation, and lush production. “There are celebratory moments and self-reflective moments. Despite the broken pieces, you can still uncover something beautiful and lean into it. It’s about finding beauty in the midst of pain,” LaRue states about the EP.
