Milo Greene Go ‘Adult Contemporary’ With New Single “Move”

May 11, 2018 BY Nettwerk

LA’s always evolving indie-pop band Milo Greene will release their third full-length album, Adult Contemporary, on September 7, 2018. The band surprised fans with a free download of album track “Be Good To Me” last month, and today they officially release the infectious first single, “Move,” with Marlana Sheetz on lead vocals daring you not to move, enveloped by layers of melodic guitars and a driving bass line.

To celebrate “Move” and the impending release of Adult Contemporary, Milo Greene have also announced a special show in Los Angeles at The Holding Co. (104 Robinson St.) on Wednesday, June 6th at 8:00pm. A limited number of tickets are available HERE. Prior to this, they’ll also be headlining the first night of Topanga Days 2018 on Saturday, May 26th at 5:30pm.

Toeing a line between emotional intensity and light-hearted humor, Milo Greene embraced the genre of adult contemporary as their muse for this album. Recorded in Nashville with Grammy-nominated producer Bill Reynolds (Band of Horses, Lissie), Adult Contemporary captures the best of their previous work: It’s exquisitely melodic, like debut album Milo Greene (2012), with the buoyant spirit of Control (2015), yet also manages to be completely unlike anything they’ve done.

Milo Greene is comprised Marlana Sheetz, Graham Fink and Robbie Arnett who all share vocal and songwriting duties. They released their debut self-titled album in 2012, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseeker Chart and featured breakthrough single “1957.” Their sophomore album, Control, was released in January 2015. Milo Greene signed with Nettwerk Music Group in 2017 and released the Never Ender EP.
