Melbourne’s Woodlock Signs To Nettwerk Records; Listen To “Lemons (The Lime Version)”

We are excited to be working with Melbourne trio Woodlock, as they release a re-working of their successful single “Lemons,” which has over 4.7 millions streams on Spotify alone. “Lemons (The Lime Version)” is a fresh and juicy twist on this already great track.
“Being one of our most loved tracks, our label suggested we tackle it again. So, we spoke to producer Jackson Barclay [Birds of Tokyo, Sarah Blasko] on re-recording it. He was super excited, and in his words, ‘let’s reimagine the track’…to which we gave him a bit of stick on the ‘reimagining’ line. That being said, there were things that we always felt we could improve on with this song, less to do with the melody and more to do with the craft. For example, changing things like the build-ups and dynamics. So, although it feels the same, it has a little something different. Like limes and lemons” – Woodlock
Today, the trio made of two brothers and a close friend – Zech Walters (guitar/vocals), Eze Walters (guitar/vocals), and Bowen Purcell (drums) – are announcing their signing to none other than Nettwerk Records, home to acts such as Jaguar Jonze, Garrett Kato, St. South, Hayden Calnin and many more amazing talents!

To celebrate the release, Woodlock will be going live tonight at 6:30pm AEST for 30-45 mins. They will be answering some questions (which they will take via socials during the day), playing a couple of songs and just generally interacting with the fans. They will be going live on Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitch via a centralized platform.
