Listen To Kidstreet’s New Single “Daydream”

September 9, 2015 BY Nettwerk

KIDSTREET make a triumphant return with new singles off their upcoming release Daydream and a live late night performance at Camp Wavelength on Saturday August 29th with promises of new material and fan-favorites. The title track and first single, “Daydream,” will be released via Nettrax on August 28th with their follow up single, “Philadelphia“, coming in the fall.

Listen (and Share) “Daydream”:

Almost a decade ago, the Canadian group debuted their fun electro-pop style to a dedicated and loyal fan-base. Originally formed in 2007, the waterloo family trio turned duo, Edna Snyder and Karl Snyder have since toured with fellow Canadian artists Dragonette, Mother Mother, and Young Empires. KIDSTREET’s music found success in film and television, specifically, the staccato piano from their song “Song” which graced TV screens with commercials for Ford Motors and Apple.

Wavelength 2015 marks three years since KIDSTREET set foot on stage. During that time Karl retreated to a cabin-in-the-woods where he embraced his true form: a music making night owl. Edna finished her degree in Medieval Studies and was working full time for a theatre company, while Cliff has actually taken permanent leave to start a family.

KIDSTREET is excited to be back in studio recording and preparing for live-performances and their music is, more than ever, anchored in their signature electronica with an anticipated level of maturity. Passes/Tickets for Wavelength can be found HERE.
