LA-based LeyeT Shares ‘more thoughts’ EP (Out Today); EP Release Show At Sayers Club On Oct 24

October 18, 2019 BY Nettwerk

LA indie-pop singer/songwriter LeyeT (pronounced “light”) releases her sophomore EP more thoughts, her second EP this year, following its companion piece thoughts (both EPs out now via Nettwerk Records). In tandem with the EP, LeyeT also releases the official music video for the latest single, “Room for Me.”

LeyeT made an impressive debut with “Don’t Make Me Cry,” topping Spotify’s Fresh Finds and landing at #10 in the US and Global Viral Spotify charts. Having earned solid support and debuting live in both LA & NYC, LeyeT released her debut EP thoughts, which housed buzzy singles such as “Most People” which premiered via Billboard and “Let Me Know” that landed in Spotify’s New Music Friday.

This EP is a snapshot into my mind and life – a continuation of my thoughts which are always running,” LeyeT explains. “I’ve been in a season of growth and independence which led me to explore themes outside of love and heartbreak, topics that were prevalent in my first EP. I’ve learned more about myself in the process and feel even more confident in who that is – a rather relentless, driven, free spirit.”

Tapping into this central theme, LeyeT has helped to cultivate and grow a community of songwriters called Los Angeles Songwriters Collective (LASC). LASC’s purpose is to be a healthy resource and thriving community for songwriters to connect, grow and create together via workshops, events and showcases. Within this community, LeyeT has taken it a step further to develop a new chapter for women called LAS(she), a place for female creatives to empower each other and inspire diversity in the world of songwriting.

Fans can catch LeyeT live at her EP release show at Sayers Club in Los Angeles on October 24th. Tickets & details for the show can be found HERE
