KACY HILL Returns With New Single “No One”

November 3, 2023 BY Bailey Vigliaturo

With her first single in over two years, Arizona native and LA-based singer-songwriter Kacy Hill is back today with new single “No One”, out now on Nettwerk. Co-produced by Hill, indie rock genre-hopper Bartees Strange and Aidan Spiro (Arlo Parks, Wet), “No One” laces Hill’s elegant brand of folk pop with ethereal harmonies, confessional lyrics, soft snare and floating winds, leaning in on Americana roots.

With “No One”, Hill signals her return to a world continually evolving around her, with a sound distinctly reminiscent but harkening to her new era. In the song, she speaks to the human condition of balancing the search for more with the patience to sit with what one has. ““No One” is about feeling perfectly content but still fighting the itch to disappear into a new life. Over the past year, I’ve gotten in the habit of going outside first thing each morning and sitting by my garden. I feel most present in those moments, and yet still find myself spinning worst-case scenarios, trying to find a way out of a life I don’t actually want out of” says Hill.

Hill recently returned from spot dates with Suki Waterhouse and released a new episode of her podcast, Kinda Jaded, with her co-host Kara Lane. Stay tuned for more from Kacy Hill to come.
