Canadian singer-songwriter Joshua Hyslop returns with new EP Embers, releasing February 7, 2020 on Nettwerk Records. Featuring brand new tracks “Behind the Light,” “Ash & Stone,” “Embers” and recently shared single “Something More,” which is about Joshua’s upbringing in a religious home. “I’ve spent a lot of time searching, doubting and wondering about what I actually believe.” says Joshua. “I was always being discouraged from doubting what I was being taught but I was also being encouraged to be honest. It was confusing. Ultimately, I walked away from it. I still have hope and I’m still searching but I hold all of those things much more open-handedly now. Additionally, Joshua Hyslop announces a January 2020 Canadian tour supporting alt-singer/songwriter Jon Bryant. Starting on January 17th in Victoria, British Columbia at Lucky Bar, the dates travel for a month across Canada and end on February 2nd in Montreal, Quebec at L’Escogriffe.
