John Butler Trio+ Announces Summer Headline Tour; Watch The Official Music Video For “Just Call”

March 12, 2019 BY Nettwerk

Today, John Butler Trio+ announces a U.S. summer headline tour where Trevor Hall, Yonder Mountain String Band, and St. Paul and the Broken Bones will join them on select dates. The tour begins on July 25 in Asheville, NC.  On stage, the genre-melding band is rowdy, passionate, ferocious, tight and simply, extraordinary.  Butler employs a battery of instruments, traveling and transforming across musical genres like a living legend.

The trek includes a return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre, following three previous sold-out shows at the iconic venue.  The month-long tour also includes a stop in Deer Valley, UT where they will share the stage with soul band St. Paul and the Broken Bones.  Folks can expect the Trio to perform fan favorites from the band’s extensive catalog, in addition to new songs from their album HOME (out now via Nettwerk). HOME includes the latest single “Just Call,” a celebration of home and the connection of one generation to another.

The band is coming off a sold-out summer tour of Australia and New Zealand, including two nights at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt. Catch John Butler Trio+, who will be debuting a new lineup this summer, at the following dates.
