Jack River’s Stranger Heart EP is a collection of songs that interrogate the role of the heart in the digital age. In celebration of its release, Jack River will embark on her debut tour of North America in March alongside Didirri and Alex The Astronaut, including a series of showcases at Austin’s SXSW.

Recorded and produced by Jack River and Xavier Dunn (with the exception of “Later Flight” which was produced by Styalz Fuego), Stranger Heart is a collection of seven songs that plead the case for the heart as a complex and dynamic thing, one that can survive chaos and find the beauty in terror and hopelessness.

Jack River is a climate ally, and a person of deep compassion for all, she shows strength and empathy in even the darkest of times. A quality she will bring to her upcoming Down To Earth – A Fire & Climate Relief Concert performance at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Wednesday 26 February. Down To Earth will see River play alongside Angus and Julia Stone, Briggs, Gang Of Youths, Ruby Fields, Tash Sultana and Thelma Plum to raise funds for immediate fire relief as well as organisations that focus on long term solutions, education and leadership for the fire and climate emergency in Australia.

Jack River continues to move from strength to strength, cultivating a devoted and ravenous fanbase across Australia. With the release of Stranger Heart, Jack River looks to the horizon with confidence, excitement and determination, ready to take on the international stage.
