After sharing the tender “Beast Behind Your Eyes” last month, William Clapson, better known as Jack in Water, returns today with another sumptuous and empowering new song, “Just Smile.”
The second single to be taken from the alternative UK singer-songwriter’s upcoming debut album, it’s about conquering the voices in your head, realising which ones are helpful and which ones are only there to make you feel small. ”Just Smile” is about accepting yourself in order to shut all those judgemental and belittling voices down.

Jack In Water has finished writing and recording his debut studio album, due out in 2021. Hugely personal work, his new material takes a reflective look on his childhood memories and relationships, digging back into uncomfortable emotions and sometimes abuse, in order to process past traumas and appreciate the person he has become now.
