About Smallpools

Smallpools erupted onto the scene with their head-turning opening statement, “Dreaming” (now RIAA Certified Gold). The song surged to the top of the Hype Machine chart, quickly earning the band support from alternative radio stations across the country, and multiple late-night television appearances, including on Late Night with Seth Meyers and Jimmy Kimmel Live. The band then released their acclaimed debut album LOVETAP! in 2015, followed by two highly successful EP’s The Science of Letting Go (2017) and So Social (2019), and their second full-length album Life in a Simulation (2021). With just two EPs and two LPs under their belt, Smallpools have racked up over 400 million streams and counting. The band has spent the majority of the past 7 years on the road for sold-out headline tours and opening for bands like Twenty One Pilots, Walk the Moon, Neon Trees, Grouplove, and Two Door Cinema Club. They’ve gone on to entertain crowds at major festivals like Lollapalooza, Firefly, and Summerfest.

The band – Sean Scanlon (Lead Vocal/ Keys), Michael Kamerman (Guitar), & Beau Kuther (Drums) – have carved an indelible mark on the indie rock scene with their infectious melodies, anthemic hooks, and magnetic stage presence. As they embark on this exciting new chapter with Nettwerk, fans can expect a series of electrifying singles honoring previous work while enthusiastically embracing the new, all leading up to their highly anticipated third album.
