Indie-Folk Duo Hollow Coves Shares Reimagined, Vol. 1, A Selection of Remixes from the Duo’s Catalogue

Today, Brisbane indie-folk duo Hollow Coves share reimagined versions of some of their most popular songs. The EP includes a new version of “Coastline” by fellow Australian artists Vancouver Sleep Clinic, and LANKS. On Vancouver Sleep Clinic’s version, Hollow Coves trademark soft lyrics and harmonies meet Vancouver Sleep Clinic’s anthemic and ambient instrumentation.
Also featured is remix of “The Woods” by The Kite String Tangle, the solo project of Brisbane-based alternative electronic artist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Danny Harley, and “Interlude” reimagined off of their Wanderlust EP.
The studio version of “The Woods” is featured on the band’s Wanderlust EP alongside “Coastline” Since release, “Coastline” and “The Woods” are now certified GOLD status in Canada, and the minute long “Interlude” has found resonance on Tiktok and Meta soundtracked to stunning & on-brand travel and wanderlust themed content. The band has grown their own live following, translating their recorded music showcasing both their softer side and a lively stomp and holler show that has led to opening for Passenger and The Lumineers.
