INDIE ELECTRONIC ARTIST PORTAIR RETURNS WITH NEW SINGLE “FLOWERS FOR A HOME”
October 27, 2025 BY Bailey Vigliaturo
Australian-born, Berlin-based indie-pop singer-songwriter Portair returns with his first new single in two years, “Flowers For A Home.” The track layers the cinematic atmospheric textures he is known for with driving beats and his signature lush falsetto. He adds, “It is about coming out of the fog of depression and rediscovering a feeling I thought I’d lost. It’s about fear turning into openness, and finding beauty in what’s right here.”

The track is the first new single under the Portair moniker since his 2023 EPs, The Place To Start and Learning How To Die, which featured Vérité, WYNNE, and Emily James. As a songwriter and a producer, Portair’s songs and scores have appeared on networks such as Netflix, NBC, MTV, and CBS. He has spent the last two years collaborating with California-born, German-based singer-songwriter Ed Prosek under the name Driftwood Choir and touring extensively as Portair.
Over the past three years, Portair has shared the stage in North America, Europe, and Australia with acts like Mystery Skulls, City Of The Sun, SYML, Henry Moodie, The Dreggs, Go-Jo, Bear McCreary, Darren Kiely, and sold out a headline Australian run. Up next, the multi-instrumentalist will join Kalandra on their Australia tour this November, and Gareth in Australia in March. A TBA European run is also set for 2026.
Stay tuned for more to come from Portair.
