Indie-Electro Artist Bay Ledges Announces US Tours With Big Wild, Trevor Hall, & Goth Babe; Starts March 15

February 17, 2023 BY Bailey Vigliaturo

Today, indie-electro-pop artist Bay Ledges announces a U.S. tour with Big Wild that will launch on March 15th and take him to iconic venues like The Greek Theatre and Brooklyn Bowl. To celebrate the tour, he shares his remix of St. Lucia’s hit, “The Golden Age,” out now.

“It was a real honor to work on this. I wanted to try making the music a little moodier and darker. I really like the irony in the lyrics so wanted to play on those a little more. Pitching the vocal down to give it all a little more weight. I’ve also always liked the way St. Lucia plays with vintage synth sounds so it was fun to rearrange these and try to repurpose them.”

Bay Ledges is also set to play select dates this spring supporting indie-folk artist Trevor Hall, including a stop at Red Rocks, as well as a handful of east coast dates with Goth Babe later this summer. In addition, Bay Ledges will be playing at Shabang Music + Arts Festival and headlining a couple of shows in MaySee the full list of tour dates below. The tour follows the 2022 release of Bay Ledges debut album, Ritual, a 13-song record written, produced, and mixed entirely by Zach Hurd, plus a sold-out summer headline tour that included stops like Troubadour in LA and Schubas in Chicago.

Hurd started Bay Ledges in his bedroom after moving to Los Angeles from a small town in coastal Maine in 2015. It began as an attempt to make fun, creative sounds with no expectations. Chopped-up guitar lines, playful beats, and manipulated vocals made for soulful, glitchy songs with a feeling of nostalgia. The project took off when Hurd’s 2016 single, “Safe,” jumped to number three on Spotify’s Global Viral Chart. He has toured all over the US and Canada, sharing the stage with such acts as Yoke LoreThe Palms, and Magic City Hippies. He is currently working on new music for 2023.
