January 23, 2025 BY Emma Orland
With the arrival of her new album Astrovan: The Love Song Vignettes and on the heels of being chosen for NIVA’s 2025 Live List, Siri Undlin aka Humbird has announced a headline tour that starts with an appearance the Treefort Music Festival in Boise, ID on March 28th before heading down the west coast through Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles and more, eventually wrapping back east in North Carolina at Merlefest on April 26th. All dates are below.
A “ wistful experiment,” as she describes it, Astrovan: The Love Song Vignettes arrives as 11 songs delivered in under 16 minutes showcasing an undeniable creative ethos: songs, like love, are best when shared heartily, no matter how short. Listen to Astrovan: The Love Song Vignettes HERE.
Undlin says, “This is less like an album and more like a message in a bottle. It’s warm like an old radio, fresh like weeding the garden, dusty with adventure. It’s not exactly a smooth ride, but back roads rarely are. That’s the fun.”

About Humbird:
Siri Undlin grew up steeped in church choirs and traditional Irish ensembles, which eventually led to conducting extensive folklore and musical research around the world as a Watson Fellow. That work inspired years of DIY touring around North America, including performing around the twin cities one backyard at a time during the pandemic. Undlin continues to expand and experiment as a writer and bandleader in a way that is fluid with each season, and oddly suited for this particular moment. Following the surprise success of the self-released debut album Pharmakon and the pensive reflections of 2021’s Still Life, her 2024 critically-lauded album Right On is the next iteration in her process of witnessing the world in all its complexity and responding with candid consideration. It is nine tracks of electrified, gritty, Midwest Americana with a little magic fairy dust thrown in. Humbird spent the majority of 2024 on the road, both headlining clubs across the U.S. and supporting such artists as Indigo De Souza, Watchhouse, Brent Cobb and Lady Lamb, as well as appearances at festivals and conferences like AMERICANAFEST, Folk Alliance and NPR’s Mountain Stage. 2025 will see Humbird on the road in support of her latest release, Astrovan: The Love Song Vignettes.
