“songs that belong on the same shelf as Jackson Brown, Arcade Fire and early Ben Howard.” — Sunday Times “Breaking Act”

“Hollow Coves seems to tap into something timeless.” — Clash

“the Brisbane duo reflect on little nostalgic moments, backed by stunning harmonies and acoustic guitars and piano.” — Billboard

Brisbane indie folk duo Hollow Coves — Ryan Henderson and Matt Carins — return with a new song/video called “Evermore,” a stunning ode to finding the person you want to be with forever. The song is a special one for the duo; it was written for Matt’s sister to walk down the aisle to on her wedding day. The accompanying music video was directed by Onil Kotian and features actors and real-life couple Kirstie Lee Bennett & Oliver Stafford, along with their personal home videos of their many adventures together.

The band adds, “It is the first love song we have ever written. We wanted to try to capture the feeling of finding someone that you want to spend the rest of your life with. An everlasting love.”

Hollow Coves released their much anticipated debut album Moments in 2019 to critical acclaim and supported the release with sold-out shows across the US, UK, Europe and beyond. This year began with the announcement of their most notable world tour to date, though the latter European half was postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. A new slew of headline dates throughout the UK and Europe have been announced for May 2021.

The 11 tracks comprising Moments were inspired by reflecting on a variety of moments and unforgettable shared experiences in their lives and the lives of those around them over the past three years.  Their passion for positivity and lightness is reflected through their vivid lyricism, earthy vocals and perfect harmonies.

A dynamic indie folk group brimming with their passion for travel and observing different shades of the world, Hollow Coves first caught attention with their debut EP Wanderlust (2017), and have since garnered more than 200 million streams on Spotify alone, and over 40 million combined YouTube views.
