Hollow Coves Release New Song “Ran Away”; Tour Dates With Tom Walker

Up-and-coming Australian indie-folk duo, Hollow Coves have just shared a brand new song, the rousing “Ran Away”.
Produced by Chris Bond (Ben Howard, Justin Nozuka, Xavier Rudd), “Ran Away” is a perfect reflection on how change over time can make people unrecognizable to themselves and to others – it sees the duo expanding on their sound, yet still retaining the pitch perfect harmonies and soothing melodies that they are known for, to create a beautifully cinematic track filled with sentiment.
After recently competing their first-ever North American tour, Hollow Coves will be returning to Europe, starting this week on April 16th in Ghent, Belgium though to April 28th in Hamburg, Germany, all these shows will be supporting UK singer-songwriter Tom Walker. Afterwards the duo will be playing at a number of UK festivals from May onwards, and headlining their biggest London show at Omeara on May 15th; full list of dates are listed below.

Hollow Coves released the debut EP “Wanderlust” last year on Nettwerk Records, which featured the standout and hugely popular track “The Woods.” The single reached #1 on both Hype Machine and THR’s “Top TV Songs” chart, and has since seen millions of plays across the globe. A dynamic indie folk group brimming with the band’s passion for travel and observing different shades of the world, Hollow Coves is the project of Ryan Henderson and Matt Carins. After meeting in 2013 through mutual friends and a shared love of acoustic music, the boys began writing together with no real expectations for where it might lead. And now, three years later, Ryan and Matt’s memories from their travels across all corners of the globe have lead to a range of new music influenced by their journeys. Blending an earthy folk sound, acoustic melodies & vocal harmonies; Matt and Ryan take turns delivering lyrics of reflection, frequently harmonizing as their voices blend together and complement each other.
