Guster Celebrates 25th Anniversary; Fall 2016 Dates Announced

Guster announces additional Fall 2016 dates, including a 25th Anniversary Celebration on November 25 at New York City’s Beacon Theatre.

Since forming at Tufts University in the early 90s, Guster has become one of the leading indie/alternative bands, releasing seven critically acclaimed albums in 25 years, starting withParachute in 1995. The latest album Evermotion (released on their own Ocho Mule label through Nettwerk Records) debuted at #1 on the Independent Record Label Current Albums chart, #2 on the Current Alternative Albums chart and #3 on the Top Rock Albums chart.  Evermotion was critically received with support from The New Yorker, Wall Street Journal, NPR All Things Considered, Relix Magazine, CBS This Morning, VH-1 and on-air performances and interviews with WXPN ‘World Café (Philadelphia), KFOG (San Francisco), WXRT (Chicago), WXRV (Boston), KINK (Portland), KPRI (San Diego), KXXT (Dallas), Sirius XM and more.

With support from Old 97’s and Duncan Fellows, the tour begins September 16th and wraps on December 4th in Dallas, with several festival appearances along the way, including Grand Point North Festival in Burlington, VT and Evermore Music Festival in Indianapolis, IN.
